"Nothing is more challenging, nothing less sentimental, than the invitation of spirit to become who we are and not who we think we ought to be."

So sad that many Americans find it difficult, if not impossible to do nothing. It flies in the face of our whole work/consume value system. But I've found fishing is a perfect way to do nothing in stealth mode. Because you have to have gear(rod, tackle box, cooler) and a purpose(catching fish), its looks like you're doing something. But you're really just 'chillin. Catching anything is irrelevant.

A Buddhist approach to addiction and recovery.  The site is new but has some useful links and shows promise.  And really anyone could benefit from the Buddhist writings on attachments, suffering, mindfulness and meditation-you don't have to be addicted to something.  I'm not that attracted to the Zen tradition (too austere for this wandering Catholic) but I found this book on the 12 Steps very helpful with my own process.
